Provision of a specialist for occupational safety

The Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASiG) stipulates that employers must appoint occupational safety specialists for the technical safety support of their employees. In regulation 2 of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), the number of hours that an occupational safety specialist must be appointed is determined based on the number of employees and the supervisory group. The specialist can be a qualified employee of the company who has received extensive training. Often an external specialist is called upon, whom we make available to you.

We support employers as external specialists for occupational safety in an advisory capacity and actively shape occupational safety. We can also work towards employees with regard to the safety and health-related design of working conditions, and organize and motivate them accordingly.

Depending on the customer’s requirements, this concerns:

• Planning, execution and maintenance of the operating facilities
• Procurement of work equipment and personal protective equipment
• Design of workplaces and processes (installation of computer workstations, design of machine workplaces, etc.)
• Safety-related review of operating systems
• Monitoring of occupational safety measures
• Creation of machine operating instructions and hazardous substances operating instructions
• Information and instruction of employees with regard to occupational safety
• Investigation of accidents at work
• Support in the creation of accident reports
• Organization of occupational health and safety
