The Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) stipulates that employers must appoint occupational safety specialists to provide safety-related support for their employees. Regulation 2 of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) specifies the number of hours that an occupational safety specialist must be appointed based on the number of employees and the support group. The specialist can be a qualified employee of the company who has received extensive training. An external specialist is also frequently utilised, which we can provide for you.
As an external occupational safety specialist, we support employers in an advisory capacity and actively organise occupational safety. In doing so, we can also influence, organise and motivate employees with regard to the safe and healthy design of working conditions.
Depending on the customer's wishes, this applies:
- Planning, realisation and maintenance of the operating facilities
- Procurement of work equipment and personal protective equipment
- Design of workstations and processes (setting up VDU workstations, design of machine workstations, etc.)
- Safety inspection of operating facilities
- Monitoring of occupational health and safety measures
- Creation of machine operating instructions and hazardous substance operating instructions
- Informing and instructing employees with regard to occupational health and safety
- Investigation of accidents at work
- Support with the preparation of accident reports
- Organisation of occupational health and safety
